They had run out of referrals and therefore had to turn towards running paid advertising in order to generate business. Which caused them to see a sharp decrease in sales because they struggled to sell to these cold leads.

Rather than spending thousands of dollars on sales training or hiring a whole new sales team. I simply suggested they send their best leads that were being generated from their ads, to their best salesperson. So that way they could close more deals and they could demonstrate how to sell to cold audiences.
